Betty L. Anstine, died at noon Oct.20 at York hospital. She was
72. Mrs Anstine retired from business office at Memorial Hospital.
Prior to that she was a personnel manager at Mailman's Department
Store. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
She was a 1945 graduate of William Penn Senior High School.
Born in York March 2, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Paul
L. and Ruth L. Knaub Trayer. She was the wife of the late William
R. Anstine.
She leaves a son, Timothy P. Anstine of York Haven; a daughter,
Rebecca L. Stern of Athens, Bradford County; and six grandchildren.
The service is at 2 pm tomorrow at St. Paul's United methodist
Church, 128 Belvedere Ave., with her Pastor, the Rev. Ferne H.
Wolfe Jr., officiating;assisted by her former pastor, the Rev.
Thomas Shatto. Burial is in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
