Anstine / Onstine Family Reunion
2006 Reunion - York, PA - 22-25 June
The Anstine / Onstine Family Association holds a reunion each year in a different location around the country where there is a concentration of Anstine / Onstine family members. The reunion is normally 2 days long. In 2006 the reunion will be 3 days long to permit a day long tour of the Anstine historical beginnings in York County Pennsylvania.

Margaret Burg and Becky Anstine will be hosting the event in York and look forward to seeing you! And they will have a lot of Anstine information for us.
2006 Reunion Details
THURSDAY: 22 June 2006 (Optional)

Genealogy Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guest speakers regarding genealogical data designed for beginning, intermediate and advanced research of the Anstine & associated families.

** Guided bus tour of Gettysburg Battlefield (optional)

FRIDAY: 23 June 2006

ANSTINE / ONSTINE / ENSTINE Family Day 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This will be held in the Social Hall of Commonwealth Fire Co, 2045 N. Sherman St, York. This will be a time of meeting and greeting, guest speakers, door prizes, activities, family photos and games for children in play area adjacent to the Hall. The formation of the Family Association will take place on this day. Lunch and dinner will be included with registration fee. Lunch will be a sandwich box lunch with beverage and dinner will be “A Taste of York County – A Pennsylvania Dutch Supper”.
SATURDAY: 24 June 2006

Bus Tour 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (optional)

The “Roots Tour” will include seeing the area where our first ANSTINE immigrant farmed; Simon Anstine’s Mill; homes of early ancestors; graveyards where they are buried; churches where they worshipped and other points of interest along the way. Only 45 seats available - reservations accepted in the order by which they are received.

A Country Dinner at an ANSTINE family farm. Dinner included with registration fee.

SUNDAY: 25 June 2006 (Optional)

Some may want to attend churches that our ancestors attended in the morning.
